Denim jeans are one of my favourite items of clothing. I’ve been wearing them for as long as I can remember, gradually over time my preference has slowly been edging towards a slimmer fit, this has been helped along by the trend of super skinny jeans over the last few years. However, this is where a problem begins, namely comfort. Trying to squeeze into these very slim jeans is a task in itself, especially with 100% cotton! It’s not just the initial problem of getting them on, but extended wear throughout the day can become quite troublesome to say the least. They have been gaining popularity again the last few seasons, but one thing has always been holding me back – one that fitted just how I like. I’m quite a fan of clothing which has a more fitted look to it. If it’s too saggy or loose, I never feel comfortable wearing it. Vintage Levi’s Shorts Outfit

I decided to create ‘Your Average Guy‘ as a platform for all things fashion related, but uniquely for men’s everyday fashion items that can be worn easily, yet stylishly. Catwalk exclusive pieces have their place in the world, with all their outlandish designs and blinding colour schemes, but for the average guy, they are something that cannot be worn so carefree.
