Donahugh offers a vast array of different designs in their collection (with many more constantly being added!). As such, it can be a challenging endeavour to narrow down to that one special pair. Fortunately, I am here to help. I have carefully chosen my top 5 options from the brand to ensure you look the part when stepping out into the sunshine.
First up, we have the ‘Brian’, which boasts an impressive six different colourway designs, ranging from a green frame to clear with blue lenses (my personal favourite). These styles definitely have a chunky retro feel, thanks to the shape and hardware features.
The Douglas is one of the more unique designs in this selection, almost round lens shape with a distinctive frame and arm design – a pair for the more outgoing gent! Available in seven styles.
These shades are a throwback to an older time, where style was much simpler (yet iconic) – you could easily envision Michael Caine rocking a pair of these! The metal detailing is a nice extra feature, too, and you can grab these in seven different style variations.
The ‘Simon’ is another model that has dipped its toe into the retro feel, very akin to the classic ‘Wayfarer’, just with its only extra touches of flair, such as the arm details and embellishments on the front of the frame. These are offered in six different styles.
Finally, we have the ‘Walter’, which boasts a head-turning design (perhaps I have saved the best till last?). This spicy number is available in eight different styles (which makes it very difficult to choose just one!). The frame is solid and chunky, harking back to the trendy 80s!
